Fumigiku Shuzo – Crafting Sake Without Compromise

Founded in 1916 in Toyama, Fumigiku Shuzo is a small brewery with a bold philosophy: every sake should be crafted with the same care and precision as the finest Daiginjo.

Led by fourth-generation brewmaster Keiki Hane, the brewery combines Toyama’s pristine mountain water with meticulous brewing techniques, including carefully controlled rice preparation and traditional koji making. Their flagship Haneya brand uses only the finest middle portion of the pressing, resulting in sake known for its purity, elegance and vibrant character.

Small in scale but uncompromising in quality, Fumigiku Shuzo continues to challenge convention while staying deeply rooted in the craft of traditional Japanese sake.
