Igarashi Shuzo
Igarashi Shuzo – Sake from the Mountains of Saitama
Founded in 1897 in Hannō, Saitama, Igarashi Shuzo is a small family brewery surrounded by the lush forests and clear streams of the Okuchichibu Mountains. The brewery draws its water from deep underground springs, carefully selecting different water sources throughout the brewing process to bring out the best in each sake.
Known for the Tenranzan and Igarashi brands, the brewery combines traditional craftsmanship with a fresh and contemporary approach. Particular attention is given to freshly pressed sake, with limited expressions bottled directly from the press to preserve their vibrant character and natural effervescence.
Rooted in the pristine nature of Saitama and shaped by generations of brewing knowledge, Igarashi Shuzo creates sake that is fresh, expressive and full of character.
Pure water. Fresh sake. The spirit of Hannō.
